The cross country team is overjoyed by the new edition to the team. No, it is not a new runner, it’s a new freezer. Held in this freezer are popsicles. Each day after practice, the cross country team ends its day of running by unwinding and congregating while enjoying some popsicles.
Before the new freezer, the team had to store their treats in in the varsity football locker room. With the building of the new locker room, the cross country team has now acquired a freezer solely for popsicles.
¨I love the popsicle freezer. I am so happy we have it to ourselves now and we can eat as many popsicles as we want. It makes me so happy,¨ said senior cross country team member Abi Andis.
The cross country team is off to a great start to the season and hope to continue the great season through conference and sectional.
