April showers bring Paoli Choirs! On April 7 at 7:30 p.m. the Paoli Varsity Chorale and Concert Choir will be having a concert at the Ruth Farlow Uyesugi Auditorium. The choirs will sing a total of six songs and there is no cost to attend.
This concert is one of many the choirs have held and will not be the last. The Varsity Chorale will perform the songs Roses I Sent You, Il Ballerino, and The Bells.
“I’m very excited and ready to get out there and show them what the concert is made of,” said senior choir member McKinley Haley.
The Concert Choir will perform Mangwani M’pulele, Little Birch, and Hope is the Thing With Wings.
The songs that the students will sing have a variety of genres. Little Birch is a very important song to the Russian culture and another song is sung in Zulu, a South African language. The students will be directed by their teacher, Chelsea Bolas.
“I see us having lots of success in the future,” said Bolas.
