The ASVAB (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a skills test required for a military job, but it can be useful for other purposes. It can be used for finding out your skill sets as well as aptitude in certain subjects. It tests on general science, arithmetic reasoning, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension, mathematics knowledge, electronics information, auto and shop.
If you plan to enter any branch of the military, the ASVAB is a requirement. If you don’t plan on entering the military, it can still be beneficial to you. The skills it identifies can help colleges and future employers to place you in a job or position where your skills will best be used.
Students who signed up are taking the test today.
