This week, SADD members across the state will be raising awareness for Rock the Belt. The purpose is to raise awareness of the dangers of motor vehicle accidents and to get kids to be cautious and wear their seatbelts. It is also part of Teen Driver Safety Week.
Facts will be listed one PHS News Today each morning, and at lunch. There will also be activities in which students can participate.
“We need to educate teens on the importance of wearing a seatbelt,” said SADD sponsor Summer Hudelson.
