On February 12, any eligible agriculture student will be traveling to the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center in Louisville for a field trip. Students will have the opportunity to see various farm equipment and speak with professionals who are in the industries the class is currently studying.
“My favorite part of the Farm Machinery Field Trip is how it is different every year. There is always something new each year. I believe this field trip is very beneficial to students because it shows how agriculture is used in everyday jobs and shows how agriculture isn’t just about farming. I personally have learned that some people spend a lot of money on machinery to make their lives easier. I’ve also learned that the best ice cream in the world is at the expo centers,” said junior Tara Robbins.
