JAG Continues the Clothing Closet

JAG Continues the Clothing Closet

Elizabeth Workman, Paolite Staff Writer

Recently, the JAG program at Paoli High School has taken over the clothing closet, which was previously run by the Hoosier Hills PACT program. JAG is glad to have the opportunity to help students through supplying the closet.

I would like for the JAG closet to be something that every student might want to take advantage of at some point. I don’t want the JAG closet to be something that students feel ashamed about using. I want it to be something that every student might benefit from whether it’s a need or just a want for something different,” said JAG teacher Katie Cook.

Currently, the clothes for the closet are in boxes in the JAG room, but the program is looking to find a permanent spot. They ask that students and staff only donate gently used clothes within school dress code and shoes in good condition to the closet. No apparel from other schools or socks or undergarments should be donated. If one has newly purchased socks or undergarments to donate, the Essentials Project will accept them.
