On March 15, the Paoli Agriculture Department will be hosting their annual pig sale. The sale will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dr. Bill McDonald Animal Science Pavilion located behind the school. Anyone is welcome to attend the event. The sale is first come first pick, and anyone wanting to purchase a pig should pay in cash on the day of the sale. All of the pigs that will be in the sale were born in the pig program this year. There will be several different genetic lines of crossbreeds featured, along with Berkshires, Durocs and Herefords.
Each owner has set their own price on the piglets, depending on the genetics and breed.
