On Friday, February 26, the PHS Student Council held Homecoming between the varsity and junior varsity basketball games against Crawford County High School. It was the last game before sectionals.

A school-wide Google form allowed students to vote for their favorite candidates. The king candidates were seniors Brett Bosley, Trey Cranfield, Garrick Stidams, Caleb VanMeter, and Ryder Meehan. The queen candidates were seniors Payton Ashley, Lili Seals, Gracie Collins, Hailee Breedlove, and Maggie Vincent. Nominees were announced before school on the Wednesday prior to Homecoming, along with the underclassmen princes and princesses.

The freshmen royalty were Trey Rominger and Stella Windhorst, sophomores were Camron Meehan and Mackenzie Gilliatt, and juniors were Eric Kempf and Hallie Graves. Trey Cranfield and Maggie Vincent were crowned as Homecoming king and queen.

“It was good to have some normalcy in this crazy year. Even though I was crowned queen, everyone looked like a queen out there,” said Vincent.
