The 21st Century Scholar meeting for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on January 22. Indiana’s 21st Century Scholar program gives financial aid to those who are eligible for up to four years of undergraduate tuition. They also offer guidance and support to ensure success in college.

In order to be eligible for a scholarship, students must have at least a 2.5 GPA, complete the Scholar Success Program and graduate with a high school diploma. Students must meet certain expectations throughout high school and college to maintain this scholarship. Students should have signed up for it in 7th or 8th grade.

Those who qualify for the 21st Century Scholarship will receive varying amounts of money toward their tuition depending on whether they attend a public, private or a for-profit school.

“A 21st Century Scholar representative will be meeting with 7th graders during their English classes and 8th graders during homeroom,” said Guidance Counselor Rachel Robinson.
