Mr. PHS Back on for 2020-21 School Year

Gracie Walls, Paolite Staff Writer

After the madness of last year’s March, Mr. PHS will be back on for the 2020-2021 school year. The eighth-annual event will be held in the Ruth Uyesugi Auditorium on Tuesday, March 16 at 6 p.m. This years’ nine candidates will have to answer an on-stage question, test their physical fitness and dance skills, present a talent, and display their evening wear outfit. Admission is $3 a person with cups for donations to People’s Choice also being available.

Since Orange County ranks as a blue-colored county, there will be no restrictions on attendance, but the audience will be required to wear masks.

“We will be recording the event and it will be uploaded to all of the teachers’ hard drives. As of now, we plan on having a white schedule the Friday before Spring Break, where at the end of the day students will be sent to their homerooms and teachers will be able to play the video off of their computers for the students to watch,” said Mr. PHS Event Coordinator Chris Jones.
