On October 6, high school social studies teachers Brian Wilson and Neil Dittmer will be taking students to Cook Field to do maintenance for the sixth annual Service Day.

The students who are helping with this project will be doing activities such as painting handrails, steps, facings of the bleachers, and the tables under the shelter house. Students will also do any quick maintenance to the facilities.

“We hope to make Cook Field and its surroundings look better and to create an even better atmosphere for those who utilize the field and track,” said Dittmer.

Participating students should wear old clothes that they do not mind getting paint on.
