The annual Speech Contest is back and will be held on Wednesday, November 2. Typically held in the spring, the event was moved due to an unoccupied early release Wednesday.

High school students in advanced English classes are required to participate, though any other high school student may choose to do so.

“I am almost always very excited to see what the students come up with for speech contest. It is a little strange to have it in the fall this year, but I still think the students will put on a great show,” said Speech Contest Coordinator Carol Eubank.
