Members of the Pride of Paoli Band will be leaving for Florida Tuesday, November 22, to spend Thanksgiving with Mickey Mouse. 

The 27 band members and 17 chaperones will go to Disney World and will spend time at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. On Thanksgiving Day, the band will spend the day at Coco Beach, and then have a traditional dinner at the hotel. 

On Friday, November 25, the band will perform a concert by the waters at Disney Springs. 

This trip is a celebration of the accomplishments throughout the season.  Band Director Chris Karkosky, looks forward to the trip to Florida.

“We feel very fortunate to be able to take trips like this. We couldn’t be able to do this without the support of the community. It’s pretty cool to be able to involve kids who have never been able to go before,” said Karkosky.

The band members will head back home on Sunday, November 27.
