On January 21, the Pride of Paoli Band will be participating in the annual Orleans Pep Band Invite.

There will be 14 schools attending, including Paoli.

In Block 1 the teams are, in order of performance order, Tecumseh, Shoals, North Harrison, Borden, Loogootee, Crawford County and Perry Central. In Block 2 the teams are, in order of performance, Paoli, North White, Speedway, South Ripley, Forest Park, Silver Creek and OBR/All Band Seniors.

Pride of Paoli has around 40 members this year, three of them being seniors. Paoli will be starting their performance at 6:05 p.m., and will end at 6:30 p.m. When the last performance of Block 2 is over, there is a short 15 minute break. After the break is over, the Orleans Varsity Winter Guard will perform at 8:45 p.m. Awards will follow starting at 9 p.m.

“The event will be a ton of fun! We have some really great pep band tunes that are sure to be crowd pleasers, and our band students know how to perform and make Paoli proud!” Band Director Christian Karkosky.

For anybody wanting to come support the Pride of Paoli, general admission is $5. If attending, dress up for the theme Epic Purple and Gold to support the band.
