Tonight, the PHS Drama Club will debut their spring play, “Life Is Like a Double-Cheeseburger.”

Director Maria Wishart is joined by U.S. History teacher Chris Lindley as assistant director. Junior Micaela MacDonald is the costume assistant, and the photographers are MacDonald and junior Olivia McSpadden.

The seniors for this year’s play are A.J. Lopez, Clayton Money and Mia Stroud. The stage managers are juniors Lilliann Woodsmall and Braeden Campbell.

“Audience members will find scenes they can relate to, scenes that remind them of their own experiences, scenes that make them laugh, and scenes that could make them cry,” said Wishart.

The show has a variety of scenes and monologue performances that are designed to work together to tell a bigger story.

“What we love most is connecting with the audience. We also just enjoy being together for rehearsals and enjoying that interaction,” said Wishart.

The shows for “Life Is Like a Double-Cheeseburger” are Thursday, February 16 and Friday, February 17, at 7 p.m. The show will last about an hour and a half. Tickets for the play are $5 and are available at the ticket booth outside of the lobby.
