The Paoli Girl’s Spring Biddy Basketball has started up at Throop Elementary.

Spring Biddy Basketball is for grades 1-5, and will begun May 1 in the Throop gym. The full dates for the event are May 1-5 and May 8-11. The event goes from 3:30-4:45 p.m. Due to limited space for spring sports, if it rains the gym is unavailable and basketball will be canceled for the day.

Just as in years past, the high school girl’s basketball team will be working the event, teaching the girls skills along with some of the basic rules of basketball. The players will also help with running drills, and working on improving their fundamentals.

“I think it is very important that our high school players help with biddy ball.  These little girls look up to our high school kids and for them to be in the gym working with the younger girls every year says something about our kids and program,” said Varsity Head Coach Donavan Crews.
