As the school year is reaching the end, seniors will be taking a trip to Top Golf and Main Event in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, May 19 for their senior trip. Seniors were required to pay $30 by April 28 to attend.

The original plan for the trip was to travel to Holiday World, but due to the park reaching max capacity, the trip had to be changed to Top Golf and Main Event in Louisville.

“I think switching our senior trip has been an overall positive change for the senior class. More seniors are able to attend the trip now, and I think it will be a fun opportunity for our class to make one last memory together before we part ways to follow our dreams,” said Senior Class President Clara Henderson.

The day trip will begin by leaving PHS at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 19, the day before graduation. Upon their arrival at Top Golf, seniors will have from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. to drive golf balls, where lunch will also be provided.

After swinging some clubs, students will travel to the Main Event and will have four hours of uninterrupted play time including bowling, laser tag, virtual reality, a full arcade, mini golf, escape rooms and much more. Along with this, each student will be granted $10 in arcade cash and pizza for dinner. By the end of the day, everyone should be back to the PHS by 6 p.m. the same day.
