This school year, the Senior Class once again hosted a parking spot painting fundraiser. Juniors and seniors had the option to personalize their parking spot until September 5.
Over the summer, the parking lots around the school received a new coat of black top, covering up all old designs. Because of this, the students who paid to paint their spots last year were able to personalize their parking spots again this year free of charge.
“Eleven students signed up to paint a spot, but three of them paid last year so they did not have to pay again,” said Eubank.
The fundraiser raised $200 dollars for the senior class fund.
Senior Savannah Key was one of the three students who paid for a parking spot last year and was able to personalize her spot this year.
“This year, I painted a matching parking spot with one of my friends. I enjoyed being able to get creative and make my spot unique,” said Key.
All proceeds made from this event go toward supporting the senior class. Senior Class Sponsor Carol Eubank was behind planning this program.
