Junior Lilly Hall is in her first year playing high school volleyball for the Rams. Here is a look at how her season has gone so far.
Q: How do you feel the season has gone so far?
A: I think the season has been okay, we have had some games where we didn’t play the way we could and we also had some games where we were not ready to play and it didn’t start off how we knew how to play.
Q: What are your expectations for the upcoming weeks?
A: My expectations for the upcoming weeks are that we come ready to play and have a good start from the beginning.
Q: What is your favorite part about volleyball?
A: My favorite part about volleyball is that I get to spend it with all my friends and work on stuff to be better for my senior year.
Q: What do you play?
A: I play as the setter.
Q: What upperclassmen do you look up to the most?
A: I look up to Lily Stroud because she has the same position that she does but on JV and I want to be able to get to where I can set consistently like she does.
Q: How do you feel about the team’s chances in Sectionals?
A: I think the team will have a good chance in Sectionals, when everyone comes ready to play it is always a good game.
Q: What is your favorite pregame meal?
A: Subway.
Q: What made you want to come back to volleyball?
A: I wanted to try it again and just have fun in my last two years of high school.
Q: What is something that you want to improve on?
A: I would like to improve my sets.
Q: What advice would you give someone who wants to play volleyball next year?
A: I would just say that you need to do what you are best at and continuously work at it and you will be fine.
