The Lady Rams Volleyball team added two wins to their record this week in match-ups against Corydon and Austin.
The team started off their week traveling to Corydon Central to face the Panthers on Tuesday, September 19. The Rams came off slow in the first set and lost the first set 16-25. Then the second, they won the set 25-9. From there on they were on a roll winning the next two sets, 25-13 and 25-10.
“We struggled in the first set but then we kicked it in gear. Glad we came out with the win,” said junior Jerzie Crane.
The Lady Rams hosted their second match of the week on Thursday, and swept the Austin Eagles. The scores were 25-15, 25-14 and 25-13.
“We practiced hard all week. We also knew coming into this game that we were out for revenge because they beat us in Sectional last year,” said senior Ella Spires.
The Rams will be at home on Monday, September 2, against Northeast Dubois.
