Last week, the Varsity Cross Country team competed in two meets, home on Thursday for the Paoli Invitational, and they traveled to Bedford on Saturday for the Ted Fox BNL Invitational at Bedford North Lawrence High School.
The home meet hosted eleven teams, including Paoli, Springs Valley, Crothersville, Northeast Dubois, Eastern Pekin, Bloomington, Clarksville, Loogotee, Mitchell, Crawford County, and West Washington.
“They ran really well. All the runners got their personal best times for the season,” said Coach Summer Hudelson.
Individual scores for the team were freshman Addie Payton 80th, sophomore Jacoby Piper 71st, freshman Zaden Taylor 95, sophomore Billy Bob Apple 123, and senior Kaleb Ruth 142.
On Saturday, the team traveled to Bedford to compete in a meet at 9 a.m. Ten teams competed in the event.
“I feel like the team did really well at the meet, and our places were all very good,” said freshman Addie Payton.

The Rams’ next race is Thursday at Little Four at Crawford County at 5:30 p.m.
