Student Council has announced they will sponsor Macho Man Volleyball and Powderpuff Football in late October. Students in grades 9-12 can participate. Powderpuff Football will be on Monday, October 23, at 6 p.m. Macho Man will take place on Tuesday, October 24, at 6 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to come and watch. The admission fee for Macho Man will be a donation to the Orange County Humane Society. The admission fee for the Powderpuff Football game will be a canned food item for the food pantry.
“I think the kids really enjoyed it last year, so I am very happy to be able to put it on again. I am excited for everyone to come out and participate, and I think it is a good fundraiser for the community. Even if you aren’t able to come, donations are greatly appreciated,” said Student Council sponsor Alexis Speer.
The Senior Class are competing this year as defending champs after winning both the Powder Puff and Macho Man crowns last year as juniors.
There are sign-up sheets outside Speer’s classroom for students wanting to play for their class team. Donations are welcome for the event, even if you cannot attend the event.
