On Friday, October 27, Paoli’s media students traveled to IU Southeast to visit and compete in IUS High School Media Day. During the awards ceremony, the media department brought home 29 awards in various categories.
During the field trip, students got to pick from various workshops to attend, and these workshops varied from a campus tour to workshops dedicated to specific parts of journalism.
“I was so happy to see the return of this field trip. We haven’t had it in recent years, and it is always a great opportunity for students to visit IUS and be recognized for all their hard work,” said Adviser Heather Nichols.
In addition to individual awards, the group earned Best Overall Website and Yearbook of the Year for the 2023 Hillcrest. A complete list of awards is listed below.
