Paoli High School proudly has three seniors chosen as finalists for the annual Lilly Endowment Scholarship: seniors Taisha Robbins, Lily Stroud, and Abby Tapp. Each student has portrayed high merit and community involvement in their high school careers to be considered for this award of such high distinction.
The Orange County Community Foundation decides the finalists and the winner. Fourteen students were eligible to apply from Paoli by being in the top fifteen percent of the senior class. Based on those criteria, the foundation chose the finalists from each Orange County school, including Orleans, Springs Valley and Paoli. Seven seniors were selected across the county with the most being three from our school. Each finalist completed a timed unknown essay prompt and a scheduled interview to complete the application process.
The three students are currently waiting patiently to hear the decision regarding the scholarship. The three finalists will know if they are chosen to receive the scholarship from late November to early December.
