On November 5, the Paoli Lions Club held their annual Pulled Pork BBQ dinner to raise funds for their organization. Members of the National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society supported the event.
During the dinner, members assisted the Lions Club by selling tickets for the event, shredding the meat, and preparing the containers of beans and coleslaw. The members also ran meals to people’s cars on the event day.
“I would like to give a huge shout-out to Carley Higgins, Cambry Tinkle and Tim Husemeyer for their help,” said NHS Sponsor Melissa Higgins.
After the ticket sales were completed, the top ticket seller was senior Faith Gammon, who had the highest gross sales, and most ticket sales went to eighth grader Raleigh Klunk. Each of these students will receive a gift card from the Lions Club.
