On October 11, the PHS Media TikTok restarted with new editors, junior Peyton Baker and sophomore Cooper Spires. The two took the title from last year’s editors, Jacob Workman and Nolan Walker.
“Bake and I proposed the idea to Mrs. Nichols. We both knew we were the best duo in the school, and we wanted to make everyone laugh,” said Spires.
The two are in charge of creating content for the platform.
“I use TikTok a lot and sometimes a video of which I think Cooper and I could replicate or come close to it. Though most of the time not only I, but also Coop think of random ideas and just hope it turns out as funny as we had thought it would be,” said Baker.
Media Adviser Heather Nichols also has to approve their project ideas.
“I think in the beginning, the guys thought it would be easy, but they have discovered that it’s harder than it looks. They have to think about telling a story, being timely, and how best to film and produce their videos. So far, they have done a great job,” said Nichols.
The TikTok account has 3535 followers, with the most liked and viewed video having 140.8k likes and 1.3M views.
