On February 15, the fire science classes will travel to the Clarksville Fire Department to tour the facilities and experience hands-on learning. The trip will include around 30 students from different Fire Science classes.
This trip is one Fire Science Instructor Jason Parks tries to take every year. While at the station, students experience activities like how the different trucks are used in situations and how everything can help ensure people around you are safe.
“Students will learn how a paid fire department works and what it takes to be a professional firefighter,” said Parks
After the tour and training, the group plans to lunch at Texas Roadhouse.
