Today, PHS will hold its annual Mock Car Crash. The event is a display of what could happen if you are impaired driving. All of the juniors and seniors will go to the football field parking lot, where it will occur.
School Resource Officer Jon Deaton has been organizing the event and will include student actors who will be a part of the display to act as the driver and passengers in the crashed car. In addition to Paoli students, juniors and seniors from Springs Valley and Orleans will also attend this year.
“I’m really happy and optimistic about this,” said Deaton.
PHS regularly hosts this event the weeks before Prom to encourage students not to drive while impaired.
