Can you write a story in two sentences? If so, you should check out the Two-Sentence Scary Story Contest hosted by Librarian Rachel Miller.
This contest, which takes place from October 23 to October 30, is a chance for people who enjoy Halloween and writing to show off their writing skills.
This event is to ensure students stay involved with the library.
“We are closed for the rest of the month due to testing, and we didn’t want people to forget about us and we also want people to enjoy the library even if they can’t actually be in the library. So this is a way for us all to still interact even though we can’t be together,” said Miller.
When the school’s students participate in this contest and submit their stories, they will be judged, and a winner will be chosen and get a prize.
“Once everybody has submitted their story, we will have special guest judges read all of the stories and they’re gonna pick the best based on a few guidelines and we’ll have a couple of different categories and then we’ll select the winners from those secret judges,” said Miller.
