The Boys’ Basketball team had their first practice on November 11. The Rams, to kick off their session, will play their annual soap and towel game on November 15. The soup and towel is an inter-squad scrimmage.
Items to enter the game will include soap, towels, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets; monetary donations are also accepted. All donations will go towards the basketball teams’ washed uniforms, showers, and clothes for the program.
Fifth- and sixth-graders will play at 5:00, seventh- and eighth-grade teams will play at 6:00, the C-team/Jv will play at 7:00, and the Varsity will play at 8:00.
This event will be held in the upper gymnasium of the high school.
The team will be split evenly amongst the players on the basketball teams.
“I’m excited for the season this year and I think we can go pretty far in the tournament,” said senior Fletcher Cole.
