The Finals is a video game that is similar to Call of Duty, However, instead of being a battle royale game, the matches are usually held with three people in a team, and four teams in total. The game is set to be a game show, where every time you get an elimination or accomplish something, a speaker announces it.
The objective of the game is to reach a certain amount of cash before the other teams have the ability to do so, which is earned through cashout boxes that are given after eliminations.
There are three different character styles to choose from, each with their own perks, so each player can have their own play style. Some maps are larger than others, and while all have the outline of a stadium around them, they still resemble towns or cities. Some may be at night and some may be at day. Also around the map are usable items, which are mostly things that you can throw or damage to cause something to happen, like a propane tank, a foam canister, or a toxic gas canister. The Finals is a pretty good choice for someone who is looking for a fun and exciting game to pass the time.
Fortnite is a battle royale game where 100 players compete to be the last one standing at the end of the game. There are multiple locations that players can choose to start from, with weapons sprinkled throughout the map that can be found in chests or given by NPCs (nonplayable characters). Players roam around the map, getting into fights and narrowing down the amount of players, until one comes out on top, eventually getting the victory royale.
The game also has a ton of different modes, and there is even an in-game tool for players to build their own games and maps for others to try. There is also a ton of customization. You can purchase skins for your characters, cars, and even instruments, and there is a battle pass where you can access seasonal in-game items. Overall, Fortnite is a really fun game to play, with multiple modes to choose from and a wide variety of choices of customization to experience the game however you may want to play.
Once Human is an open-world game, where you start out as a person who is escaping a laboratory, and goes outside to find out that the world is going through an apocalypse. The game starts simple, but as you level, the game unlocks more locations around the map for you to explore. When unlocking new locations, you find boss areas where you fight for rewards, with five necessary bosses spread throughout the game.
Once Human is also online, there will be choices of competitive and collaborative modes. You can build a base, compete against friends, or work together to take down bosses. I personally enjoy finding open spaces to build my house on, as it usually catches the attention of other players and it is easier to find teammates to fight bosses with, making it easier to level up. Overall, I really recommend this game to anyone looking for something that they can sink some time into.
