Senior Commits to Oakland City University in the Fall

On December 17, Senior Fletcher Cole announced he would continue his academic and athletic career in basketball at Oakland City University.

Oakland City University is located in Oakland City, IN, about 30 miles north of Evansville.

“It all started in the summer when I got my first offers; I had Judson, Oakland City and some other schools talking to me, but it came down to the fact that Oakland City made me feel welcome. I know a lot of the guys there. They travel around, they’re like a family as a team. I really enjoy that kind of stuff,” said Cole.

Cole visited Oakland City over the summer, enjoyed the atmosphere, and liked their campus.

“Fletcher has put in a lot of time and hard work and it is starting to pay off for him and he gets to reap the rewards,” said basketball coach Dusty Cole.

As of right now, Cole does not have a set signing day. However, he believes he will have one and announce it when he knows.
