Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 Senior Workout will be held this Sunday, March 30, at Marian University in Indianapolis. Sixty senior players, including senior Fletcher Cole, are selected for the workout. A panel of coaches selects the seniors.

“There’s a panel of coaches that have to nominate players, including a panel of the IBCA, Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, that select the top participants,” said Coach Dusty Cole.
The Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 Senior Workout has a history in Indiana high school basketball. Established in 1981, this event has become a showcase for the state’s top 60 boys and girls from high schools across Indiana, based on their performance during the season, their potential for college basketball, and their overall contributions to their teams.
“After check-in we’ll start with stretches and drills to get warmed up. We will then play 5-on-5 games for the remaining time while being evaluated by other coaches and people on the committee,” said Fletcher.
Cole will be participating in the first session, 1-3 p.m.
“With Fletcher being my son, I’ve been lucky to have gotten a front-row seat to see all the things Fletcher has accomplished. Most of the guys chosen will be playing at the next level, and many of them we will see on TV in the next few years. It will be fun watching him compete against the State’s best one last time,” said Dusty.
Cole sees this recognition event for Fletcher positively impacting his program overall.
“It’s great for a small school player like Fletcher to be chosen as one of the top players in the state. It’s quite the honor. It’s great for our community, our school, and our program. I am sure Fletcher will represent us well,” said Dusty.
Ever since Dusty became the basketball coach, the only other senior from Paoli who has been chosen for the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Workout was 2020 senior Brett Bosley.
