The Paoli High School 2025 After Prom occurred in the upper gym from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event was run by Miya Scott, Alexis Speer, and Samantha Goen. The event had pizza, cookies, chips, and drinks provided for the night. The activities included a blow-up course, laser tag, basketball, a photo booth, and more. Students could earn prizes by playing bingo, participating in musical chairs, and entering a random prize drawing.
BINGO and musical chairs were open to anyone who wanted to win a prize; however, the drawing at the end of the After Prom was only for juniors and seniors. Juniors and seniors had tickets that they could put their names on, giving them a chance to win a prize. Prizes were purchased from fundraisers held throughout the year.
“We have fundraisers every year. The fundraisers we have are Butter Braids in October, Merkley Meats in January or February, tux rentals for prom through Tux It in March, and Texas Roadhouse peanut sale in November. The amount and type of prizes purchased depend on the success of our fundraising efforts. We need every junior and senior to step up and sell every year to continue having awesome multiple prizes for the after-prom event,” said After Prom Coordinator Miya Scott.
The winners were selected from a random draw and the prizes were: Gracie McKibbon won a Laptop, Jaxson Reynolds took home Dubois County Bombers Tickets, Lucas Shinkle claimed an Echo-Dot, Matt Hammond won a Fishing set, Dakota Mousty drew a PickleBall Set, Cherokee Hopper took home a Cornhole Set, Landon Smith got a 3-in-1 charger, Joshua Herd and Coy Busick both got a $200 Best Buy gift card, Paige Flick won a Coleman Tent, Fletcher Cole won a Ninja Airfryer, Isaiah Apple and Cannon Lambdin both now have Kayaks, Abby Poe won a Oculus Quest, Keilea Moore took home a 43″ TV, Ruwen Forchel won a Car charger, Amber Schuley and Trinity Gyger both earned Stanley Cup, both Keeley Scott and Kolt Bonta won a Mini fridge each, Dom Garcia won Apple AirPods, Coen Brace won a $50 Bass Pro gift card, Tariana Burkhead took home a $50 Texas Roadhouse gift card, Audrey Hall received a Teeth Whitening Kit, Treighlin Minton took home a $50 Ulta gift card, Tyler Hannoon won Round of golf for four with cart at Valley Links, Chloe Smith and Josh Zapien both own Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Amber Pennington got an Apple Watch, Taylor Patton was selected for the Microwave, Avery Crews got an Ipad, Kyle Willhoite now has a pair of Beats headphones, and Taylor Morgan won the Keurig.
