The Paoli FFA held a Hat Day fundraiser today for National FFA week and pledged to donate the funds collected to the Kerry Wyatt Memorial Scholarship. From sticker purchases alone, the fundraiser collected $580.
“There aren’t enough words to express my sincere appreciation for YOUR help. Whether you wore a hat, bought just a sticker or smiled at me today — it’s appreciated,” said Spanish teacher Rachel Wyatt in an email.
Mr. Wyatt was an agriculture teacher who taught at PHS for 28 years. He passed away at the start of last school year on August 16, 2015.
Mrs. Wyatt will be matching the student and staff donations at the Orange County Community Foundation. An additional anonymous donation brought the total to $1,740 for the fund.
Anyone interested in adding to the fund may contact the OCCF office at (812) 723- 4150.
