At 7:55 a.m. every Wednesday morning, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is going to start doing weekly devotionals. These will take place at the flagpole, weather permitting, or the JAG room, where most of the devotions will probably take place from November to March. Every week, a volunteer will share a scripture passage and share how it brings them hope, following with them leading prayer. These devotions will roughly take about 10-15 minutes. FCA came up with the theme of hope in order to remind each other about the hope people should have, especially in these crazy times. Those who attend can expect a very laid back and simple gathering to remind everyone to hold onto hope.

“After personally experiencing the hard parts of quarantine, such as being lonely or feeling hopeless, and hearing the same struggles coming from talk once back at school, I collaborated with Mr. Lindley with an idea of weekly meetings sponsored by FCA that can encourage students and give them a little hope in these unsure times,” said FCA President Alyssa Warren.

Any student or staff member is welcome to attend. If you have any questions, contact Lindley or Warren.
