Tri-Hi-Y and National Honor Society have teamed up to collect canned food for the Paoli Food Pantry.
NHS Sponsor Melissa Higgins and Tri-Hi-Y Sponsor Maria Wishart have been collecting food for a few weeks and the event ends this Friday, September 30. Any student interested in participating should bring canned foods to their homeroom teacher.
The idea started because a student mentioned that the food pantry needed food, so they decided that it was a good idea.
“There are more people in the community needing food right now,” said Wishart.
The homeroom with the most donations will receive an ice cream party. For more information contact any Tri-Hi-Y or NHS member.
