Starting October 1, applications for the FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, are available for students who are planning to attend college. The FAFSA helps students and families by providing financial aid to help make the cost of post-high school education more affordable.

Interested students and their parents will need their FSA ID, all social security numbers, 2021 tax records, and a list of schools to which you plan to send your FAFSA information.

“Don’t wait to apply,” said Guidance Counselor Rachel Robinson.

To complete the FAFSA visit studentaid.gov or pick up a paper application in the guidance office. The application will take 30 minutes to complete. You can also contact 888-528-4719 for more information. The deadline to file is April 15, 2023.
