The Junior high Student Council is preparing for the annual semi-formal MORP for junior high students on May 5.

The theme for the night in New York and tickets will be sold from April 24 to May 4. The dance will be held from 7-10 p.m. Tickets will cost $7 per person and will not be sold at the door, students must purchase tickets before the event. The dance is semi-formal and is a dress to impress.

MORP is organized by Student Council Sponsor Tammy Noble.

“Setting up for MORP is a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.  I really enjoy working with my Student Council members to make Morp great,” said MORP Coordinator Tammy Noble.

During Morp, a random name will be picked for the seventh grade prince and princess and the eighth grade king and queen.

The same rules and expectations for a regular school day apply to students at MORP.

Noble expects kids to be on their best behavior and to have fun.
