PHS will be saying goodbye to its choir teacher, assistant softball coach, and assistant football coach Seth Eisenhower at the end of this school year.

Eisenhower joined the PHS staff the summer before the 2022-2023 school year.

“I loved it here. There were a few bumps with figuring out teaching and all, but I loved the staff and students and really enjoyed being here,” said Eisenhower.

Eisenhower will be going back to his hometown of Greensprings, Ohio to be closer to his friends and family. He was offered a new job at New London High School where he will be teaching choir to sixth through twelfth grade students.

“I was offered a position back home about 15 minutes away from home, rather than six hours away from everything, it’s just easier for me and my family,” said Eisenhower.

After teaching at PHS for a year, Eisenhower has created a lot of great memories and friendships.

“I am going to miss the people here. Everyone was so nice and supportive to the random guy from Ohio. I will also miss the family feel that I had as soon as I got here. I loved coaching the football and softball teams as well,” said Eisenhower.
