On February 2, Paoli JAG students traveled to the Career Development Conference at French Lick Resort. The students competed in various competitions related to lessons they had learned while in the JAG program.
Winning awards for the day were:
Senior Ray Pinnick placed 3rd in Critical Thinking Category
Senior Kaden Edwards placed 2nd in the Career Presentation Category
Senior Rayger Mintion placed 2nd in Financial Literacy
Senior McKinley Stewart placed 3rd in Digital Invitation Creation
Paoli JAG Chapter placed 2nd for their commercial
“We were really happy with our results. I was super proud of them,” said JAG coordinator Katie Cook.
Senior Ayla Anderson also received an Honorable Mention for her Outstanding Senior entry. Anderson received $100 for her award.
Senior Zach Henry placed 1st in Public Speaking and will next compete at the State Career Development Conference at Ivy Tech College in Indianapolis on March 15.
