The annual Spoontag game is right around the corner.
Starting February 4, the PHS Prom Committee will promote the annual Spoontag game. This game is available to freshmen through seniors, including staff. The game will occur every school day on campus from 8:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. until one player is left standing.
“It’s similar to a huge game of freeze tag only using a slap bracelet,” said Post-Prom Sponsor Alexis Speer.
Each person will be assigned a “target” by student council sponsors each night. The “tagger” has to tag their assigned person before they get their bracelet on. Everyone is up for grabs in this game. The only time you can consider yourself “safe” is when the person that is assigned to you is eliminated.
Any interested students must visit Speer or a fellow Post-Prom Sponsor, Miya Scott, to sign up and play. A bracelet will cost $3, and if you lose your bracelet, you can buy a new one for $5. The last day to purchase your bracelet is February 14.
All proceeds from the game will fund the activities and prizes at the 2025 Post-Prom.
The game officially begins on February 23 and will continue until the last player is standing. The winner will receive a $25 gift card from Amazon.
