The high school Drama Club Production will host their spring production on February 13 and 15. Their production is titled “Will You Be My Nemesis?” The Drama Production will have two mini-plays between the primary production, “When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors” and “Bittersweet Lullaby.”
“Will You Be My Nemesis?” is about a superhero looking for a villain’s nemesis and a super villain looking for a hero’s nemesis.
Drama Director Maria Wishart wanted to find a new story for the audience. The cast helped pick the production, and they chose it because of its humor and flexible casting. Everyone gets a minor part, and everyone gets to have fun!
Wishart talks about her goals for this production and what she wanted to accomplish in this production!
“My main goal is always that the students involved have a good experience and enjoy working with each other. We also hope to allow our audience to laugh a lot,” said Wishart.
If anyone wants to help backstage, the drama department constantly looks for extra hands to help behind the scenes. Anyone is welcome to attend and watch the show! On February 13 and 15, the show will start at 7 pm. It only costs $5 to see our drama club’s production!
