One widely favored event at Paoli High School, Mr. PHS, is hitting the stage again on Tuesday, March 11.
The show will begin at 6 p.m. in the Uyesugi Auditorium, and admission to the show can be purchased at the doors for $5.
Mr. PHS has become a tradition at PHS after the first-ever show was held in 2013.
This year, nine senior boys will compete in different categories. Their coaches and sponsors chose the boys for the group they would represent. In each category, the boys are encouraged to display themselves to the best of their ability. Every contestant will have the same goal: to convince the judges and guests why they should be the 2025 Mr. PHS.
Each contestant is partnered with a coordinator who helps the contestant throughout the event.
Among those competing this year are: Peyton Baker for PHS Football, his coordinator is Chloe Smith; Hayden Bostock for JAG, his coordinator is Brianna Perry; Coy Busick for PHS Cheer, his coordinator is Taylor Patton; Fletcher Cole for PHS Basketball, his coordinator is Jae Walker; Brian Fullington for the Paolite, his coordinator is Lilly Hall; Carson Neal for National Honors Society, his coordinator is Keeley Scott; Jaxson Reynolds for PHS Track, his coordinator is Jericho Hopper; Jonny Shellenberger for PHS Booster Club, his coordinator is Jerzie Crane and Josh Zapien for PHS Media, his coordinator is Mary Cook.
Chris Jones, an art teacher and Booster Club coordinator, organizes the show. Jones has given some insight into how we will raise money for the 2025 Prom.
“We generally raise around $2000 – $2500 through ticket sales, People’s Choice Award votes, and the contestants’ nomination fees,” said Jones.
Mr. PHS is a great way to spend your time on Tuesday evening, plus all proceeds go to support the 2025 Prom.
