The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will host “Courts of Faith” in the lower gym on Monday, March 10. The event is open to all students from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It will consist of games like nine square or basketball, worship with music, and testimonies shared by the seniors involved. FCA is an organization centered around Christ in most high schools across the United States.
Despite the name, FCA is open to athletes and any student interested in fellowship and learning about the Lord. For students at PHS, FCA Huddle meetings are held on Thursdays during homeroom, and Bible studies are held every other Friday during homeroom.
“Courts of Faith started as one of our first big FCA events a couple of years back, and since then it has helped us grow as a group and also as individuals. Courts of Faith also allows people to hangout and share their stories of how Jesus has changed their lives, and also gives an opportunity for a fun time in a smaller space than something like Fields of Faith,” said junior FCA leader Cannon Lambdin.
Anyone interested in learning more about Courts of Faith should contact Lambdin, senior Mary Cook, or Chris Lindley, the Club sponsor.
