Students planning to play volleyball in the fall are encouraged to attend summer weights beginning June 2. To kick off the season, Volleyball Coach Kinley Block also hosts two Open Gym events on May 27 and May 28 from 5-7 p.m.
Any incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and senior volleyball players for the 2025-26 school year are highly encouraged and anticipated to attend if they want to work on their skills before our season begins in the fall.
“We will focus a lot on our technical skill sets; passing, setting, hitting, serving, blocking, and communicating well as a unit,” said Block.
Block believes the students will benefit from lots of drills for the girls. The players will also participate in team bonding activities throughout the summer.
“I firmly believe that the stronger the bond, the better you play together,” said Block.
The team has several games planned throughout the summer. The girls have two tri-matches. The teams consist of Paoli, Orleans, and West Washington. Paoli hosts the first match. The team will travel to Perry Central for a tournament at the end of July. Two camps are planned for them: the first in Louisville and the second in Indiana.
