Football season begins in the heat of the summer with team workouts and conditioning. With it not only being hot outside, the Rams have faced heat on the inside as well, with the air conditioning in the locker room going out during the summer.
On August 11, the School Board voted to approve the quote from Harrell-Fish, Inc. for $39,000.00 for the replacement and installation of AC in the football complex. The payment will be made from the Operations Fund. The new unit was installed in August, restoring cool conditions to the locker room.
“They needed to run new AC lines from the unit and replace the thermostat system,” said Football Coach Neil Dittmer.
The Rams will utilize their locker room during the first home game against the Springs Valley Blackhawks on September 5.
