Ram Recap; wrap-up of events happening at PHS.

On Thursday, August 28, both the junior high and Varsity girls volleyball teams had matches. The junior high team faced off against the Mitchell Bluejackets, and the Varsity team faced the Crawford County Wolfpack. Both junior high teams defeated the Bluejackets, but the Varsity was defeated in three sets by the Wolfpack.

On Friday, August 29, the Varsity Football team headed to Corydon to face the Panthers, where the Rams came home victorious, beating the Panthers 17-7. The next day, the JV football team would host the Panthers, beating them 14-0.

Also on Saturday, the Cross Country team attended the Salem invite, and the Varsity volleyball team competed at the Henryville tournament. In the Salem invite, sophomore Cooper Lane finished 40th with a time of 22:15, and senior Billy Apple finished 55th with a time of 25:48. At the Henryville tournament, the Rams were defeated in all four of their matches.

Senior Tyler Hannon is involved in a variety of sports, including football, wrestling, and baseball. Hannon has been involved in PHS Media for four years. Outside of school, he enjoys playing video games, going golfing with friends, and listening to music. Hannon’s dream job is to own a golf shop and become a Professional Golf Club Fitter. The best advice Hannon has received was, “Pick what you love as a career because if you love it, then it won’t feel like work.”
