On Tuesday, September 2, senior Alivia Sweet teed off at Western Hills in the Salem invite, competing against Salem and Eastern Pekin. Sweet shot a 49 at Western Hills. The junior high volleyball team faced off against Perry Central, with both seventh and eighth grade winning both of their sets. Lastly, the Varsity tennis team took on the Corydon Central Panthers, beating them 3-2.
On Thursday, September 4, the cross country team headed to the North Harrison invitational, where sophomore Cooper Lane finished 45th with a time of 20:52. Senior Billy Apple finished 73rd with a time of 25:29.
There was a golf invite hosted at Green Acres, where senior Alivia Sweet finished 2nd overall with a score of 49. The volleyball team hosted the Forest Park Rangers and was defeated in three sets. The junior high volleyball team faced off against Bedford, and both the seventh and eighth grade teams were defeated. On Friday, September 5, the varsity football team hosted the Springs Valley Blackhawks in the Orange Bowl and was defeated 34-52.
