On Thursday, August 1, the PHS Open House was held at the school for any students wanting to meet their teachers and explore their new classes. Incoming seventh grade students clung tightly to their parents as they ventured the hallways.
“I’m excited for lunch,” said incoming seventh grader Tristian Mudd.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, seniors were more social and calm about the upcoming school year.
“I’m looking forward to making memories,” said senior Taylor Mullinax.
Many students and parents were lined up outside the guidance office and the cafeteria for refreshments.
The guidance office was also busy with students requesting schedule modifications.
School for all students begins for all students tomorrow at 8:15 a.m.
